Travel itinerary for a one-day safari to Lake Mburo National Park in Uganda:

• Begin the journey at 6:00 am with a pickup from your designated location in Kampala and embark on a three-hour drive to Lake Mburo National Park, the only Uganda National Park that features an entire lake and is the closest park to the capital city.
• Upon arrival, embark on a game drive to spot a variety of wild game such as Burchell’s zebra, eland, leopard, buffalo, elephant and impala, in the park’s varied landscape of open savannah, acacia woodland, seasonal and permanent swamps, forest and open water.
• Enjoy lunch and check-in time.
• In the afternoon, take a 2-hour boat ride on Lake Mburo to observe hippopotamuses and a variety of bird species such as pelicans, herons, cormorants and fish eagles.
• After the boat ride, check out of the park and be transferred back to Kampala and dropped off at your preferred location.
