Overview:
In the Southwest part of Uganda in the stunning Afromontane forest of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park where we Walk on the wild side for a once in a lifetime encounter with one of the rarest and highly endangered animals on Earth. Half of the world’s mountain gorillas are found in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Dotted by forests and lakes and dominated by the dramatic Virunga mountain range, just under 350 mountain gorillas live and play among the mossy undergrowth of the forest floor.

Day 1:
Early morning after breakfast at 7.00 am the driver will pick you up from the hotel of residence and you can set off for the Bwindi Impenetrable national park a drive of 9 to 10 hours towards the South West of Uganda. We shall have a Lunch stop in Mbarara at the Igongo Culture Centre before we embark on the journey through Kabale District passing rural villages, cultivated farms, and hills before you reach your lodge of residence Rushaga Gorilla Camp, here you will then check-in at Lodge and have some dinner.
You will have some time to rest and prepare for the next day, your guide will give you a briefing on how and what you need to prepare well for your tracking the next day.

Day 2:
The day of Gorilla tracking. You will have an early rise at 7:45 am and transfer to the starting point of Rushaga Tracking briefing point for a pre-briefing and at 8:30 you will start the trek, after finding the gorillas you will spend approximately maximum of 1 hour time with the Gorillas. All visitors are expected back to the starting point by 7:00 PM. The walks can take 3-9 hours depending on where you find the gorillas feeding. It is real hiking and being physically fit is recommended.
We shall have a game drive in Bwindi Impenetrable National park for about 30 minutes. Thereafter, get you back to Rushaga Gorilla Camp for dinner and rest.

Day 3:
After breakfast, our guide will drive us back to Entebbe through Mbarara Masaka road, we shall have our lunch at Igongo Cultural center before we proceed to Masaka where we shall make a shopping break at the Equator for Tea/Coffee break and buying souvenirs.
We then shall drive to Entebbe International Airport and this is where we end your tour.
